Jasmyn's selfies #3

Yesterday, various members of Jasmyn's family drove up from Molinara, near Benevento, to visit her. It was four-hour drive each way but it was well worth it, judging from the amount of cheek tweaking going on. The nonni were quite overwhelmed as it was the first time they had all met. Nancy was invited to lunch as well, once she announced that her family came originally from a town only 14 kilometres away. Despite the hands all going up in the air as recognition of a fellow paesana, we left Jasmyn to communicate with them in a mixture of standard Italian, English, Calabrese and Molinese.
